OH-Model have gone above and beyond to bring us this 6×4 Euro style cabover tractor unit. Modeled after the legendary Swedish King of the Road, this kit has the official seal of approval from Scania themselves. Brace yourself, because the Griffin has landed! Just take a moment to absorb the insane level of detail packed into this kit. Follow the exquisite lines of the faithfully reproduced cab styling. Yes, even the pressed steel cab-back detail has been re-created in 1/32 scale. Fuel and air tanks that are not normally going to be visible, and could easily have been omitted are also present and correct. Grille detail, step treads, mirrors, every light and every logo badge. All is where it should be, right down to the Scania-embossed rubber mud flaps. What’s that, you want a functioning fifth wheel? Check. The all-new unpowered front axle is suspended on stacked leaf springs, just like the 1:1. The twin, powered rear axles utilize an ultra-realistic trailing arm and simulated air-bag setup. The Orlandoo Hunter OH32T01 kit has the most individual components of any Orlandoo model to date. It gives shade to even the OH32N01 caravan and OH32M02 6×6, neither of which were exactly short on scale detail. Orlandoo’s use of etched parts in this kit is at an all-time high. Yet all the while they have retained the robust build quality we have come to expect from their kits. High quality ABS plastics, steel chassis rails, brass gears and metal mounting rods for the rear arches all ensure the durability needed for an RC vehicle. The Orlandoo Hunter OH32T01 kit does not include any electronics. It requires the now familiar Orlandoo recipe of a 2.2g micro servo and N20 geared motor, plus ESC, radio and battery of your choice. If you want to add lighting then 1206 SMD LEDs are used throughout. As with other Orlandoo models, thoughtfully designed mounting locations make installation a breeze – provided you can solder! The rear axle internals are standard Orlandoo fare – solid axle and brass gears. You can swap in optional MG2-460 open differential axles to gain improved turning at the expense of overall traction. The stock plastic driveshafts are plenty durable, but you can upgrade to MD3-225 and MD3-375 ultrafine CVD shafts if you wish. Now, slowly put down that micro crawler, clear you mind, and ready yourself for some big rig trailer-reversing heaven! Climb up and ease yourself into the cockpit. Marvel at the instrumentation laid out before you, before turning the key and bathing in the 650bhp rumble of that legendary V8! Well ok, the whine of a tiny N20 gear-motor, but we’ve taken you there, right? Note: This model kit contains many small parts and is recommended for experienced modelers only. Screwdriver, wrench and allen keys are included however a sharp craft knife, glue, paint and masking tape are also required to finish, and other tools such as side-cutters, pliers and tweezers are recommended. Children under 12 should be supervised during assembly and play.
